KARACHI (Staff Report) – Mauritius President Dr Bibi Ameenah Firdaus who arrived in Karachi early this morning, has held a meeting with Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad.
Matters of mutual interest figured during the meeting. Members of Sindh cabinet were also present on the occasion.
Earlier on arrival at Karachi airport, the distinguished guest was received by Governor Ishratul Ibad, members of provincial cabinet and the assembly.
During her four-day stay in Pakistan, the Mauritius president, who is leading a nine-member delegation, will also visit Islamabad.
She will hold talks with Pakistani leadership on expansion of Pakistan-Mauritius trade and economic relations.
Her meeting with President Mamnoon Hussain is also on the agenda.
