ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Tuesday vowed to liberate the people of Karachi of terror of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
The PTI head, in his twitter feed, strongly condemned the manhandling of party leaders by MQM activists in Karachi. MQM Chief Altaf Hussain is afraid of losing to PTI in NA-246 and has begun terrorizing the electorate, he said.
“I strongly condemn the fascist tactics of Altaf Hussain,” he tweeted.
Khan reaffirmed his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, will not be cowed by such tactics of MQM.
Khan in his another tweet expressed his grief saying, “Today we saw democracy Altaf Hussain style in Karachi: No different from the tactics of the Nazi party”.
2/2 We will not be cowed down by such scare tactics & we will liberate Karachi’s citizens from the terror of MQM, InshaAllah.

Earlier, the convoy of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member Imran Ismail came under an attack from baton-wielding activists of Muttahida Qaumi Movement near Jinnah Ground in Azizabad area of Karachi.
Ismail, speaking at a press conference after the incident, termed the attack “bad manners” of MQM workers.
MQM, on the other hand, has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists of defiling the sanctity of the memoir of party martyrs and chanting inappropriate slogans which incited a bitter reaction from MQM supporters.
