Sartaj for peaceful settlement in Yemen

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister’s special adviser on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz on Sunday said Pakistan is doing its best for a peaceful settlement in Yemen through negotiations.

The adviser, in an interview to federal TV, warned the instability in Yemen can put the whole region notably the Muslim countries at risk.

“A joint session of Parliament has been convened to discuss the situation and develop a unanimous national strategy to deal with the issue,” he added.

He reaffirmed that Pakistan supports the every effort being for a peaceful resolution. Turkey and Pakistan have agreed to intensify the efforts to get the both parties to the table, he said.
