Chanel Haute Hijabs on display in Los Angeles

Fashion brands have started catering to foreign clientele in hopes of pulling in big-ticket purchasers, and latest to join the bandwagon is Chanel. 

Recently, Chanel boutique displayed mannequins donning pink, hijab-inspired head coverings, an obvious play to the wealthy Saudi shoppers flocking to Los Angeles, it was reported.

Chanel, of course, isn’t the only label looking to target foreign shoppers.

In January, Dolce & Gabbana announced a collection of hijabs and abayas.
