MIRPUR (Web Desk) – Bangladesh has won the second ODI against Pakistan in Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur here on Sunday. The home team easily chased the target of 240 runs for just 3 wickets.
Chasing Pakistan’s 239 for six, Bangladesh rode on Tamim Iqbal’s unbeaten 116 to cruise home in the 39th over.
Earlier, Pakistan’s Saad Nasim and Wahab Riaz contributed 77 and 51 runs, receptively. Haris Sohail scored 44 runs off 61 balls.
Bangladesh’s Shakib al-Hassan picked two wickets whereas Sunny, Nasir, Hossain and Mortaza each ousted one batsman.
Earlier Pakistan decided to bat first after winning the toss.
Bangladesh had defeated Pakistan by 79 runs in the first ODI match of the series.
