ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will introduce a fresh B.Ed program from the spring semester, in accordance with the roadmap given by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The study duration of the B.Ed is now one and a half year, and aspiring students will need to have at least sixteen years of education to be eligible for admission. The new admissions will start from February 1.
“We are the pioneer in offering this program, one and a half year duration, after the HEC’s decision of phasing-out one year B.Ed, PTC and CT program,” said Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Shahid Siddiqui.-Online
