Radd-ul-Fasaad: Security forces kill ten hardcore terrorists in DG Khan

LAHORE – Security forces killed 9-10 militants belonging to banned outfits during a joint operation in Dera Ghazi Khan’s Basti Dadwani on Friday, reported ISPR.

Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), Intelligence Agencies and CTD undertook a joint operation against terrorists affiliated with TTP and their facilitators/hardened criminals holed up in a hideout in Basti Dadwani near Choti Zerin, 15 Km South of DG Khan, read ISPR statement.

During exchange of fire, 9-10 hardcore terrorists were killed including Muhammad Asghar Dadwani alias Ustad Gorchani and Muhammad Naeem alias Waqas Dadwani.

During the operation, soldiers including Havaldar Asif, Sepoy Aftab and Sepoy Azizullah of Pakistan Rangers embraced martyrdom, while two soldiers sustained injuries.

The operation is still continuing to flush the area of terrorists who were involved in heinous crimes, ransom and terrorist activities.

Pakistan Army had launched ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’ across the country to root out terrorism without any discrimination, the Inter-Services Public Relations said on February 22, 2017.

“The operation aims at indiscriminately eliminating residual or latent threat of terrorism, consolidating gains of operations made thus far and further ensuring the security of Pakistan’s borders,” the ISPR statement added.
