ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Sunday morning tweeted that the The sentencing of deposed President Morsi to death bodes ill for the Egyptian people and for Egyptian democracy.
Khan also said in his tweet that “The Pakistani nation and Pakistan’s democracy continue to suffer the aftermath of civilian leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s (ZAB) hanging by a military dictator”.
Yesterday, an Egyptian court sentenced deposed Islamist president Mohamed Morsi and more than 100 other defendants to death over jail breaks during the 2011 uprising.
Morsi was in the caged dock when the judge read out his verdict.
