PTI Core Committee to discuss MQM allegations today

ISLAMABAD (Web desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, has convened his party’s Core Committee in Islamabad today (Tuesday) to counter Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) allegation, local media reported.
Both the parties are in war of words in the wake of hard-hitting speech made by MQM chief Altaf Hussain against PTI leadership and Monday’s counter-attack by Imran Khan.
“Altaf Hussain is a coward, who has been living abroad for over two decades in order to safeguard his life,” Khan said at a press conference in his Bani Gala residence, excoriating Hussain’s remarks against PTI women supporters.
Khan accused Altaf Hussain of having let loose a “reign of terror” in Karachi. Fuming over Khan’s remarks, MQM staged protests in different cities and announced to take out more rallies on Tuesday in solidarity with their party chief Altaf Hussain. PTI leaders would gather today at Khan’s residence to discuss future course of action against MQM.
