Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ officially confirmed

JAKARTA – Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A6 duo has been spotted on tech giant’s Indonesian website which confirms that the new Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ will be available soon.

Display

Samsung Galaxy A6 features a 5.6-inch HD+ with the resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels and aspect ratio of 18:9.

While the Galaxy A6+ features a 6-inch FHD+ display with the resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and aspect ratio of 18:9; both devices will have Super AMOLED Infinity display.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy A6+ is equipped with dual 16MP f/1.7 + 5MP f/1.9 rear facing camera and 24MP f/1.9 selfie shooter with LED flash.

The smaller Galaxy A6 will come with a 16MP f/1.7 rear facing and 16MP f/1.9 front facing the camera with LED flash on both sides.

Only the larger A6+ will have ‘Live Focus’ like on the Galaxy Note8 and on the Samsung Galaxy S9+.

The battery capacities on both devices are 3,000 and 3,500 mAh respectively.

Both devices will come with 32GB of internal storage and will be expandable with a microSD card. The A6+ gets 4GB of RAM while the A6 gets 3GB.

The processors aren’t listed here, but based on the clock speeds in the spec sheet above, these correspond to the smaller A6 using an Exynos 7870 while the larger A6+ packs a Snapdragon 450.

There is no concrete release date, but the Indonesian website lists the phone as “coming soon”.
