LAHORE – Police have arrested a man for allegedly raping his minor stepdaughter in an area of Lahore, local media reported on Friday.
The shocking incident happened in Badami Bagh area where the rapist sexually abused the six-year-old girl, leaving her mentally and physically scarred.
According to police, the accused identified as Sabir was arrested soon after the matter was reported. He has been put behind the bars and will present before a court in the city for further legal action.
The minor sustained fractures in her skull as well as both of her arms, revealed medical reports. The victim has been given into the custody of the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau.
