LAHORE (Staff Report) – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has contacted Finance Minister Ishaq Dar regarding the businessmen’s reservations on the imposition of tax on transfer of money through banks.
The Finance Minister took notice of the issue of 0.6% tax imposed on the amount withdrawn from the banks.
He has summoned a meeting of representatives of Federal Board of Revenue and Traders in Islamabad tomorrow to resolve the issue through mutual consensus.
