LAHORE – A plan to shift former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to the Sharif Medical City Hospital was postponed on Tuesday due to non-issuance of release orders for his daughter Maryam Nawaz.
Earlier, media reports said that the former premier has been discharged from Services Hospital and will soon be shifted to the other medical facility.
Maryam Nawaz, who is also in the hospital to look after her father, was granted bail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case on Monday (Oct 4) and her release orders yet to be issued.

President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif and other members of the Sharif family, who were present in the hospital to take the former premier to the hospital located in Jati Umrah, have gone back after the release orders for Maryam were not issued.
The former three-time premier is under treatment at the hospital since October 22 when he was brought to the medical facility after his health condition deteriorated during the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
