LONDON – India beat Pakistan by 7-1 at the Hockey World League Semifinal today (Sunday) in London.
Indian players were in complete control against Pakistan at the end of the first half. The Indian efficiency was remarkable with 18 circle penetrations and 15 shots to score the seven goals. Even with four penalty corners, the Indian team took control of the opponents soon in the game.

Captain Harmanpreet Singh’s first goal got the team going. He admitted it was a good passing with proper positioning of his team players.
India beat Pakistan in the 2016 Sultan Azlan Cup and twice in the 2016 Asian Champions Trophy in Kuantan, Malaysia.
