Data leaked – Pakistanis and Indians among users of famous Canadian adultery website

OTTAWA (Web Desk) – The leaked data of a cheating website Ashley Madison revealed that Pakistanis and Indians were also included among its millions of users.

The famous online cheating website with the tag line, “Life is short. Have an affair” was hacked a week ago, reported Mail Online.

The personal and intimate information of over 37 million users of the cheating website leaked online this week. The data dump of 9.7 gigabytes revealed such details as addresses and emails.

Hacking group ‘the Impact team’ released a world map in which they highlighted countries in yellow and orange whose citizens are the adultery website’s users.

“This is a new world map showing the locations of all the members of Ashley Madison cheaters outed by hackers,” said Mail Online.

The data also revealed that Alabama state in the United States has the highest number of adulterers, while West Virginia seems to have most committed partners.

The Associated Press traced many of the accounts exposed by hackers back to US federal workers, including assistant attorneys; information technology administrator in the Executive Office of the President; a division chief, an investigator and a trial attorney in the Justice Department; a government hacker at the Homeland Security Department and another DHS employee who indicated he worked on a counter-terrorism response team.
