KARACHI – Selfie master Ahmed Shahzad was fined Rs 20,000 after he ‘misbehaved’ with an umpire during a match between Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited and Habib Bank Limited (HBL), local media reported on Wednesday.
Ahmed Shahzad is skipper of the HBL team. The match was being played as part of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy at National Stadium Karachi.
The fine was imposed after Shehzad reacted in an inappropriate manner to the umpire’s decision. Match referee, Anis-ur-Rehman, reported the incident to the management, who decided to fine the cricketer with Rs. 20,000 as a penalty.
