Team’s performance in Bangladesh ‘disappointing’: PCB chief

KARACHI (Staff Report) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan on Thursday said the cricket team didn’t perform up to expectations in the ODI series against Bangladesh.

PCB chief, while talking to local media, stressed that the cricketers need to improve their sports skills. The management will now focus on the fitness related vulnerabilities that have been exposed during the tour, he said.

The team’s bad performance will be investigated once the tour ends, he announced.

Khan appreciated the Bangladesh cricket team over their performance throughout the series.

He expressed his best wishes to the cricket team for the upcoming test and T20 series.

Bangladesh whitewashed Pakistan in a three-match ODI series for the first time in cricket history.

This was the first time when Pakistan faced Bangladesh under the captaincy of Azhar Ali after Shahid Afridi and Misbah Afridi announced their retirements.
