KARACHI – The star cricket all-rounder Shahid Afridi has questioned the concerned authorities of Pakistan’s Southern sprawling metropolis, Karachi over their inability to resolve the water crisis.
The former captain in a Twitter post said that since the inception of Pakistan, 70 years ago, Karachi has been the hub of all economic activities, however, the problems of the city, specifically the water shortage, remains to be solved.

Afridi further wrote that being on the brink of coastal shores, the Karachites are facing worst water crisis and no government had listened to people’s miseries.
The athlete’s outburst comes after water level at the Hub dam, one of the two main sources of water supply to Karachi, dropped to a dangerously low level, creating an acute shortage of water in the metropolis.
