The festivities of this extravaganza are planned by the production designer of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus movie, Sabu Cyril.

“The design is unique for this event. But it’s largely modelled on the royal palaces of Rajasthan,” said Cyril.

A team of 200 professionals has created a 350,000 sq ft pandal, spread over 20 acres, with an investment of Rs 20 crore. The palace in Baahubali was spread across five acres.

It will host 30,000 guests including 42 global leaders, government representatives, politicians, movie stars, CEOs of various companies, technocrats and diplomats etc.

The lavishness of the wedding can be judged from the fact that Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and the Bahrain royal family have been brought by chartered planes to the venue.

Moreover, 350 private security personnel have been hired for security apart from 250 cops provided by the administration.

Interestingly, out of the total budget of the wedding, Pillai will use Rs10 crore for humanitarian initiatives to help cancer patients.
