ABU DHABI – The National Selection Committee headed by Inzamam-ul Haq after consultation with Captain Sarfraz Ahmed and Head Coach Mickey Arthur has announced the 12-member Test squad for the third Test against New Zealand.
Fast bowler Mohammad Abbas has been dropped from the side due to his shoulder injury during the second Test in Dubai while Shaheen will replace him in the playing XI.
The third Test match will be played in Abu Dhabi from December 3 to 7, 2018.
Pakistan’s 12-man squad: Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali, Haris Sohail, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam, Sarfraz Ahmed (c & wk), Bilal Asif, Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali, Yasir Shah, Faheem Ashraf.
