Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra Jones has now entered food industry as she is going to open a swanky eatery ‘Sona’ in New York, serving Indian food.
‘The White Tiger’ actress has launched the project in collaboration with restauranteur Maneesh Goyal, also a close friend of Chopra. The restaurant will be opening its doors to the public on Friday, March 26.
She had made an announcement about the opening of the restaurant earlier this month in an Instagram post when she wrote: ““I’m thrilled to present to you SONA,” Chopra wrote on her Instagram account. “A new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with.”
“The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef Harinayak, a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country,” she wrote.
Goyal also praised the Chef Hari saying he “is a remarkable talent who, despite him & his family calling the New York area home for almost 20 years, has been helping to open restaurants all around the world”.
