KOLKATA (Staff Report) – Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Kings XI Punjab by seven runs in the 32nd match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 at Eden Gardens Cricket Stadium, Kolkata on Wednesday.
Knight Riders openers Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa built the platform for a huge score with their fifties.
Terrific stuff from Andre Russell. The athleticism to field off his own bowling to run Axar Patel (21 off 7) out and then Rajgopal Sathish throws accurately to run Gurkeerat Singh Mann out.
