KARACHI (Web Desk) – Former cricketer Imran Khan has backed calls for overhaul of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the structure of domestic cricket, observing things had ‘hit rock bottom’.
“Since the 80s I have been saying Pakistan’s domestic cricket structure is deeply flawed [and] needs to be overhauled.”
Khan, in a series of tweets, also blamed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the poor state of affairs in the cricket board.
The former captain backed calls by former International Cricket Council chief Ehsan Mani’s suggestions on how cricket in Pakistan could be saved.
