KARACHI (Staff Report) – Pakistan’s veteran test cricketer Younis Khan on Saturday said that he wants to complete 10,000 runs before his retirement.
Talking to reporters before his departure to United Arab Emirates (UAE) to play test series against England, the cricketer said he is still more than a thousands runs short to 10,000 runs destination but he is very hopeful to fulfill his desire.
He went on to say that he will establish a cricket academy to train young cricketers after his retirement.
On the occasion he also urged Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to support former cricketer Hanif Mohammad in establishing a cricket academy. Senior cricketers like Hanif Mohammad should be praised and utilized by the board to train youngsters, he said.
