LOUIS – Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of microblogging site Twitter, had his account hacked temporarily on Saturday, apparently by a big-scalp hacking collective OurMine, a group famous for hacking social media accounts belonging to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, former Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
To announce the hack, OurMine posted a few benign video clips and a tweet saying “Hey, its OurMine,we are testing your security.”
Their motivation for compromising Dorsey’s account remains unclear.
