Sharifs challenge Avenfield verdict in LHC

LAHORE – Former Premier Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law captain (r) Safdar have filed a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) against the Avenfield verdict on Wednesday.

The petition states that the three times elected Prime Minister (PM) of the country was being punished on the basis of a law voided after the 18th amendment.

The petitioner, advocate A K Dogar asked the Lahore High Court (LHC) to dismiss the decision against Sharif family in London property case.
