Unicef Appoints Saba Qamar As Pakistans First National Child Ambassador

UNICEF, the United Nations agency for children’s welfare, has appointed Pakistani actress Saba Qamar as the country’s first National Child Ambassador.

In an Instagram post, Saba Qamar shared pictures of moments spent with children and wrote, “I met some truly amazing people this week and had some wonderful experiences. I have so many stories to share! More coming soon!”

Saba Qamar reiterated her commitment to working for children’s welfare through UNICEF’s platform and thanked the global organization for the opportunity.

It is noteworthy that this is the first time UNICEF has appointed a National Ambassador for children’s welfare in Pakistan.

As the Ambassador for Children’s Welfare, Saba Qamar will highlight children’s issues on various platforms both nationally and internationally under UNICEF’s banner.

Saba Qamar has consistently raised her voice against violence and exploitation of children and women in her social media posts and dramas.
