Pti Announces Protest At D Chowk On Oct 15

ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday announced to stage protest at D-Chowk on October 15.

According to media reports, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political committee held an emergency meeting, which was notably not attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

After the meeting, Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram issued a statement announcing a large-scale protest at D-Chowk, Islamabad, on October 15. The statement instructed all organizational leaders and wings, from the central committee to the regional level, to begin preparations for the event.

In light of the planned peaceful protest at D-Chowk on October 15, PTI has cancelled protests in various districts of Punjab, with new dates to be announced later.

The political committee also stated that the “mandate thieves” and rulers who disrespect the Constitution and the law show no willingness to end their cruelty and oppression.

The committee specifically mentioned that unjustly imprisoned PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Adiala Jail is being subjected to new forms of brutality.

The statement further claimed that Imran Khan’s life, health, and safety are being deliberately endangered by stripping away all his basic human rights.
