LAHORE – Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has announced EMUI 8.0-based Android Oreo 8.0 update for its Mate 10 lite.
The rollout for HUAWEI Mate 10 lite, a fan-favorite in the mid-range smartphone segment, will start from Monday, 30 April, 2018 onwards.
“We’re also looking for beta testers who wish to try out the EMUI 8.0-based Android Oreo 8.0 update. Inbox us your details and we’ll select 20 people today before 06:00 pm,” the smartphone maker said in a statement on Tuesday.
The new update includes artificial intelligence (AI) such as real-time scene and object recognition, smart tips, AI-driven language translation and more.
The new update significantly cuts down on the number of steps needed to achieve the desired function through its smart applications like navigation dock and smart screen and enables the user to reach 90% of the core functions in just a single click.
