Rama festival begins in Astore

ASTORE (Web Desk) – In Astore, four-day long Rama festival begun (Saturday) today.

Deputy speaker Jafarullah Khan was the chief Guest on the occasion.In the first day of festive polo match was played between Astor Green and Nagar.

Nagar won the match defeating Astor Green by 8-2 Goals. Thousands of local people and tourists witnessed and enjoyed the match.

Concluding ceremony of the festival would be held on Tuesday. Federal Minister Kashmir affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir would be Chief Guest.
