LAHORE (Talha Naseer) – A non-profit organisation named Jihad for zero thalassemia organised its annual function VOLCON, Volunteers convention.
This event is organized to appreciate volunteers for their untiring hard work throughout the whole year.
Volunteers from 27 cities came to attend 5th VOLCON in Lahore.
Chief guests included Mr. Zeeshan Afzal, CEO Peshawar Zalmi, Dr. Javed Awan, Miss Khalida Amjad, Mansoor Farooq. Previous progress and future plans were discussed.
JZT, Jehaad for Zero Thalassemia has been working since 2010 to make Pakistan a Thalassemia-free country.
