Trump proposes meeting Kim Jong-Un on N.Korea s atomic program

WASHINGTON (Web Desk) – Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, while speaking to a British news outlet on Wednesday, proposed to hold a meeting with Supreme Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea to discuss the country’s ongoing atomic and missile testing program.

If Trump becomes US President and is able to follow through on the proposal, it would mark a significant shift in US policy towards the often-belligerent Pacific republic.

One of the two Democratic candidates for the upcoming US presidential elections, Hillary Clinton has targeted Trump for this statement, calling it ill-conceived.

During his interview with the British media, Trump also said he would increase pressure on America’s chief rival, the People’s Republic of China. He also criticized Russia for its involvement in Ukraine and the Middle East.
