ICC okays Hafeez’s bowling action

LAHORE (Staff Report) – International Cricket Council (ICC) approved the bowling action of Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Hafeez on Tuesday, tweeted the all-rounder.

ICC has also formally informed PCB in this regard.

Hafeez, at his twitter feed, thanked God over this achievement and said that ‘he is very happy’. The cricketer extended his regards to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), fans and his family as well for their support in the tough times.

He mentioned the whole National Cricket Academy analysts in his post at social media network that helped him to redesign his bowling action according to ICC rules.

Hafeez was examined by a special ICC unit in Chennai earlier this month.

The cricketer was slapped a ban by cricket council after umpiring panel had reported that his bowling action was illegal according to council’s rules.

Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal was also cleared by ICC after he redesigned his bowling action in February this year.
