India bars Pakistani players from participating in Pro Kabaddi League

NEW DELHI – The Indian government has barred Pakistani players from participating in the Pro Kabaddi League, slated for next month.

The fifth season of the league will begin on 25 June with a clash between Puneri Paltans and Telugu Titans in Pune.

According to Indian media, sports minister Vijay Goel has stopped the auction of ten Pakistan players who were selected in the initial process.

The neighbouring extremist government has not adopted such unprofessional behaviour for the first time as earlier, Pakistan hockey and squash players have also not been allowed to participate in international events held in India.
