LODHRAN – A man has ripped off both of his wife’s feet for not complying with his order in a village Galilianwali of Lodhran.
According to Station Head Officer Mehboob Elahi, the accused Fida Hussain had directed his wife not to let her daughter go outside from the home as her marriage was scheduled after Ramazan and girls are not allowed to go outside after the engagement according to local traditions.
But yesterday (Monday) when his daughter went outside of the house, he lost his temper, and cut off both feet of his wife with sharp-edged equipment for not stopping her.
The wounded was shifted to Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur where doctors tried to join her feet but remained unsuccessful. She is reportedly in serious condition.
The SHO of local police stations has claimed to have arrested the suspect.
