Pakistani cueist Asjad Iqbal suffered a defeat in the final of the IBSF World Six Red Snooker Championship held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on Wednesday.
He lost to an Indian player with a score of 6-2 frames, unable to sustain his strong performance in earlier matches.
Just a day before, Iqbal had outclassed Indian opponent Malkeet Singh in the semi-final to secure his place in the final.
Iqbal’s impressive display in the crucial semi-final match led to a commanding 6-0 victory on Tuesday.
He dominated all the frames with scores of 49-18, 38-34, 46-13, 40-31, 52-13, and 45-0. Iqbal was set to play the final round of the championship on Wednesday.
