3rd Asian Kabaddi Championship: Pakistan beat Iran by 47-22

WAH CANTT (Staff Report) – Pakistan beat Iran by 47-22 points in the opening match of 3rd Asian Kabaddi Championship at Wah Cantt on Monday.

Earlier, Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain inaugurated the championship.

Seven teams including India, Iran, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan are participating in the event. The event will continue till May 6.

Secretary General Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that all arrangements have been completed to hold the Asia Cub Kabaddi Tournament in a befitting manner.

He said foolproof security arrangements have been made for Kabaddi teams of Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Iran
