The third-time elected premier Nawaz Sharif faced one of the worst blows of his political stint when on July 28, the top court ordered his disqualification for concealing his employment with Capital FZE, a firm managed by his younger son Hassan Nawaz.
After the verdict, Sharif took a rally from Islamabad on Wednesday that completed its journey in four days.
In his explosive addresses, Nawaz Sharif, who can never become a legislator again, urged the masses to help him establish civilian supremacy in the country.
The former premier also hinted at amending the constitution in a move that political observers think points to abolishing article 62, 63 of the Constitution, that led to his disqualification.
