LAHORE (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finally demanded that India give a clear response by Monday regarding the Pakistan-India cricket series that has been hanging in limbo for months over a venue for the series, Geo TV reported.
According to TV channel report, the PCB wrote a letter to the BCCI on Saturday demanding the Indian board give a clear reply by Monday the 7th of December about the series.
The PCB has made it clear that if no reply is received by Monday the series will be assumed canceled.
India had refused to play in the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan’s home away from home, and Pakistan rejected the prospect of playing the series in India.
Earlier the PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan had urged the concerned authorities in India to come to a decision regarding playing Pakistan’s home series at the earliest as there was not much time left for preparations.
“Very few days are left to prepare for the series if it happens…They should inform us about whatever their decision would be,” he told journalists on Thursday, but it seems the PCB Chairman has finally put his foot down.
