MARDAN – At least 11 people have been injured in a blast that occurred in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday morning.
Over 600 grams of explosives were used in the blast that occurred in the Khwaja Ganj Bazaar of Mardan. The injured were rushed to the District Head Quarters hospital for treatment. The injured include two police officials Gul Karim and Abubakr.
Though no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, investigators suspect that it sought to target police personnel.
The police has launched an investigation into the incident.
