KARACHI – Gold and silver prices continued to rise in both global and local markets.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold increased by $51 per ounce to reach $4,319.
Following the rise in international prices, the price of gold in Pakistan’s local bullion markets increased by Rs5,100 per tola to Rs454,336. The price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs4,372 to Rs389,519.
Meanwhile, the international price of silver increased by $2.80 per ounce to $64.60.
As a result, the price of silver in local bullion markets rose by Rs280 per tola to Rs6,939, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs240 to Rs5,949.
