ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A famous beauty salon in Islamabad has been accused of evading millions of rupees in taxes, reported Urdu daily Jang.
According to the report, the Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation in Land Revenue has raided the head office of the salon located in Sector G-10 Markaz and confiscated all the records.
Initial investigation report confirmed that the beauty salon also manages branches in several other cities such as Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi and earns billions of rupees as monthly profit. However, all these earnings were kept hidden from the authorities to evade taxes.
It has also been claimed that the beauty salon charges Rs1 lakh to Rs2 lakh for makeup and beauty treatment of a single bride.
