Printing press business witness boost as election campaigns gaining momentum

ISLAMABAD – The printing press business witnessed boost due to an increase in the demand for posters, banners, and panaflexes as elections campaign gaining momentum in the federal capital.

The printing press business owners said that they have already got a lot of orders from the supporters of elections candidates and workers of various political parties.

Muhammad Ali, a printing press shop owner said that the activities would further increase as the elections come closer.

As the election campaigns kicked off in the city, the owners of printing press business also increased.

The voters and supporters of various candidates also started displaying e posters in front of election offices of the candidates and on rear windscreens of motor vehicles to support for the candidates. Similarly, the demand for flags also increased in the city.

Nafees Idrees a printer at college road said that “ as the date for the election has been finalized, we are taking thousands of orders on daily bases even from out of the city and our business is expecting to grow more for another few days.”

He has hired additional workers to meet the orders placed by supporters and candidates. Panaflexes also being prepared in different sizes depends on order,” he said.

Another printer at Saddar road told that “ as the election date is very nearer, our business witnessed on high record”. He said that “in these days when few days left for election, my staff works for day and night to complete customers orders on time.”
