LAHORE (Online) – District and Sessions Judge Nazeer Ahmad Gajana on Friday issued death warrants of a death-row convict after 22 years.
Ghulam Mustafa, a resident of Okara, had killed Pervez in Gulshan Iqbal Lahore in 1992.
Special judge Gulbaz Baz Khan had issued conviction orders after his indictment in 1993. The convict had filed a plea against his conviction in the apex court, which was turned down.
His mercy appeal was also rejection by the president. The convict will be executed on March 29.
