Pakistan women to play three ODIs, T20Is in Sri Lanka

LAHORE – Pakistan women’s team will travel to Sri Lanka to play three ODIs and three T20Is, starting March 20.

The tour will begin with the 50-overs format fixtures at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium before moving to Colombo for the T20Is from March 28, according to Cricbuzz.

Pakistan’s previous clash with Sri Lanka came in last year’s World Cup, where they fell short by 15 runs in a tight finish.

For Sri Lanka, this will be their first bilateral series since their abysmal outing in West Indies in October 2017, where they were blanked across the ODIs and T20Is.

The three ODIs will be immensely crucial for both sides as they look to gain points for the current 2017-2023 ICC Women’s Championship.
