LONDON – Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief, Imran Khan has congratulated the cricketer for a thumping victory in the 11th General Elections of the country.
Khan’s first wife – who bailed him out in the Bani Gala property case – took to Twitter on Thursday and expressed her jubilance over the landslide victory of PTI in the cutthroat electoral tussle.

‘My sons’ father is Pakistan’s next PM. It’s an incredible lesson in tenacity, belief & refusal to accept defeat,’ said the London-based lady in her message, being widely circulated.
Khan’s former better half fired another tweet and shared an interesting event dating back to 1993 when Khan informed her that it was a clean sweep but the other way round.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is currently leading on as many as 114 seats of the National Assembly with apparently Imran Khan assuming the throne of the country in a matter of next few days – to the surprise and dismay of many political opponents.
