World Cup T20 2016: Bangladesh vs New Zealand, England vs Sri Lanka matches today: England beat Sri Lanka by 10 runs to enter semis

KOLKATA (Staff Report) – Chasing 172 to win, Sri Lanka made a good fight back with Angelo Mathews’ 54-ball 73 but could manage 161/8 in 20 overs.

Jordan took 4-28 and two wickets from the penultimate over which did for Sri Lanka in the end.

Sri Lankan skipper Angelo Mathews has won the toss and elected to field first against England in the Super-1- (Group-1) round match of ICC WT20 2016 at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Delhi.

Bangladesh will face New Zealand at Kolkata and England will play against Sri Lanka at Delhi in an ICC T-20 World Cup match on Saturday.

The first match (Bangladesh vs New Zealand) will start at 3:00pm (IST) and 2:30pm (PST) and second match (England vs Sri Lanka) will begin at 7:30pm (IST) and 7:00pm (PST).
