Beaconhouse National University students’ preparations are in full spring as their annual play 2017 gets closer. The event to be staged in Al-Hamra Hall #2 is a murder mystery and a theater adaptation of Agatha Christies’ novel.
The play features students from various departments but all belonging to the 3 year old Beads (BNU Dramatics Society).
Hassan Raza, the director of the play, and a 3rd Year Theater Film and Television student says
“We have been rehearsing for 1.5 months and we have faced so many issues it’s impossible to count them (laughs). From our actors literally breaking bones to getting bedridden sick, getting into car accidents and more, we thought the murder mystery had come to life and we were actually being hunted. “
Further he claimed, “But I am happy to say we have managed to put the cursed play up haha and are ready for Lahore to remember us”.
