Major changes required in cricket team to improve performance: Inzamam ul Haq

LAHORE: Following the failure of the National Cricket Team in ODI series, Chief Selector Inzamam ul Haq said that major changes were required in the cricket team to improve the performance.

Inzamam opined that there should be one captain for all three formats of the game (Test, ODI, T20).

The chief selector said that the best players had been selected to play matches with Australia, adding that now the performance of all players will be reviewed to determine the issues.

The chief selector also responded to questions regarding Mohammad Hafeez being sent to Australia. Inzamam said this decision was not made in haste.

Responding to a question, he said that Misbah ul Haq will take his own decision regarding retirement.

He added that fit players of Pakistan Super League (PSL) would be included in the national team.
