KARACHI – A minor girl died Sunday because of wrong injection administered by a fake doctor in the port city.
The eight-year-old girl was taken to a private clinic, where the quack gave her the wrong injection, resulting in her immediate death.
The parents of the girl took her dead body to Jinnah Hospital for post-mortem but hospital’s MLO Dr Zakia refused to conduct her post-mortem.
The family stayed at the hospital for hours with the dead body but to no vain.
Reports in local media suggest the fake doctor was arrested shortly after he escaped the clinic.

Earlier, 9-month old minor girl Nishwa passed away in Karachi after administration of wrong injection.
Nishwa suffered brain damage after allegedly being administered an excessive quantity of an injection at a hospital Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of the city on April 14.
Nishwa became paralysed due to wrong injection at Dar-ul-Sehat hospital. The overdose of potassium chloride had affected her brain severely, leaving her nearly brain-dead.
Nishwa was shifted to Liaquat National Hospital, another private hospital in Karachi, for treatment where she breathed her last.
Following this, another minor girl died in Karachi due to wrong injection.
According to details, the four-year-old girl was suffering from measles when her parents brought her to a private clinic in Bilal Colony area of Korangi.
The father of the girl alleged that his daughter died due to wrong injection.
The doctor allegedly administered a wrong subutex injection to the girl, resulting in her death. Police have arrested the doctor who administered the injection.
